HERE'S my pick of the top pubs and bars in and around Beeston for those of you who are still thirsty for a tipple after the festive season.

The Victoria, a genuine free house known for its welcoming atmosphere and fantastic food, the pub is a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.

The Greyhound, a great live music venue that's going from strength to strength since the new management team took over in September 2006. They had a huge task turning this once rundown pub into the warm, friendly, fun-packed entertainment venue it's known as today.

Crown Inn, a Real Ale Emporium situated in the heart of Beeston. This former Hardy & Hansons pub was transformed in 2009 into a traditional old fashioned Ale House. With 14 Beers, 8 Ciders, over 60 World Whiskies & Rums, Cornish Fruit Wines and Continental Draught Beers, you will not struggle to find something you enjoy.
