It will be World Book Day on Thursday 1st March and what better day to get into books or get lost in an old favourite.

Beeston has lots of places for you to rediscover your love of books. First port of call must be Beeston library. The services at the library these days are brilliant and not just all about books. You can access lots of services online like renewing your books which means you shouldn't miss the return date. You can also request certain books and view up and coming events online too. If you would rather buy a new book then Beeston have a great selection of bookshops for you to get your hands on a good read. WHSmiths has all the new releases as well as lots of classics by wellknown authors on their shelves. Karl's Bookshop on Chilwell High Road has top reads at great prices, as does Beeston Bookshop in the town centre. You can pick up great titles for a song in the charity shops too if you really want to pick up a bargain.

Reading was once thought to be a gift only the rich could afford now we can't get through the day without reading. Be indulgent and get into reading for pleasure, you will be glad you did!
